  • Cultural Keywords: This article contained several cultural keywords that are often found in scientific texts such is this one. The main keywords I found include the ideas of challenges, success, and achievement. These keywords are repeated throughout the text in varying forms, and they form the foundation of the author's argument.
  • Basic Thesis: 3-D printing is a challenging yet rewarding field of study that is revolutionizing the field of medicine and taking the entire field into a new age of scientific progress.
  • How the keywords support the argument: These keywords have certain positive connotations that most people in our society can't help but support. The ideas of success, achievement, challenges, and progress have a certain relation with the "American Dream" that most people support as a cultural ideal. Since our society was founded using these principles, the author's use of these keywords helps him gain more support for his ideas. These key values promise the betterment of society, thus allowing a wide audience to support the ideas communicated through this text.
